Founded above a print shop in Hoxton Square in 2016, RuneRaidLegends began as three friends annotating dungeon maps by candlelight. Today we are a small guild of writers who treat every review like a manuscript — researched, illuminated, and made to last.
We play games to the credits before we write a word. No embargoed hot-takes, no scores bought with early access — just honest, richly detailed coverage of the RPGs, roguelikes, and co-op raids we love.

Is the writing really independent?+
Yes. RuneRaidLegends is funded entirely by readers and zine sales. We accept no paid placements, sponsored scores, or publisher junkets. When a review is based on a review copy or early access, we say so at the top of the page.
What does a Guild membership include?+
From £4 a month you get every Strategy Scroll, the printed quarterly zine posted to your door, ad-free reading, and an invite to monthly raid nights. You can pause or cancel any time from your account page — no lock-ins.
Can I pitch a Chronicle?+
We commission a handful of freelance pieces each quarter. Send a short pitch and a writing sample through the contact form and mention the game. We pay a flat rate per commissioned Chronicle and always reply within two weeks.
Do you cover games on every platform?+
We focus on RPGs, roguelikes, and co-op raids across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. We don't chase every release — we'd rather play a handful of games properly than skim dozens. If it has deep systems and a story worth reading, it's in our lane.
